Hello 2012

Not too good at the old updating our news page thang but hello 2012 even if it is February!  So,  Pete MacLeod, Jericho Bay, Alkinoos Ioannidis and his world tour, Scott McWatt and A Time to Keep - this is why we don't update the page, we are busy beavers.  Next stop SXSW, phew!

A belated update

Oops no update since July... Guess we were busier than we thought!  Ending the year with some amazing Scottish talent in the form of debut albums by Dead Man's Waltz and Dead Boy Robotics, some great media support which we are always appreciative of and plans for even more new artist releases in early 2012.  A shout out to Everymatic faves Descarga Dance and the incredible year they've had so far, onwards and upwards for that talented Scottish/Cuban collective!

The happiest announcement yet - We're working with ASH!

Hi world
We're super excited to be working with one of our favourite bands, Ash.  As proper 90s indie kids, this has got us all aflutter.  They're back with some July shows and a best-of album in the autumn.  Hurrah!

Dead Man's Waltz

Does this intrigue you?

'Re-imagining the traditional music of their island home into a style they call 'folk-noir', The Dead Man’s Waltz follow a shadowy path through the cabaret of Weimar Germany to the louche basement bars of Tom Waits and The Pogues to the cavernous halls of more recent acts such as Yann Tiersen and Beirut'.

If the answer is yes, then you need to be buying their new single 'Fallow Fields' on June 27th.  Go on, you know you want to!

On the road

Everymatic is on the road again, this time in -hopefully- sunny Brighton for the Great Escape festival.  Catching up with friends from the US and Europe so fun times ahead.

Very excited about the reaction our new clients Dead Boy Robotics and The Machine Room are getting for their double A single released on Tape on the 23rd of May.  Gearing up for our summer schedule so announcements to come very soon.

SXSW recovery

Another great SXSW, we love you Austin.  Happy to see so many familiar faces and welcome new friends to the Everymatic family.  Liam Finn, The Antlers and Marques Toliver cemented our love for all things Transgressive, while Ha Ha Tonka and Ron Sexsmith will be on the office stereo for a while.  Thirty Tigers and Old Flame Records are our new US label crushes.  The icing on the cake was our double whammy of Duran Duran shows thanks to the one and only Paul Adams at Magus Entertainment.  Bring on 2012.
